A year ago we were producing and performing a show about our experience of loss. At that point we were open to the possibility we would never get our rainbow baby. It was really important to me to perform the show while we were living that reality and I'm so glad we did. It built beautiful connections and conversations. It also raised $1220 for Pink Elephants.
I'm so thrilled to share an unofficial epilogue- this year we have that rainbow baby in our arms! Getting to this point has been a journey and pregnancy after loss was anxiety filled but we are here and we are so grateful.
This year we won't be performing as we get to know our newest family member. Roe is writing though, and we hope to be back soon with part two with our happy ending, Luca.

It is difficult to put into words what the experience of sharing this show has meant to us. It was terrifying to put our story on the stage not knowing if people would connect with it. The response has been beautiful and overwhelming!
Performing the show and seeing people nodding along with such strong emotions in their eyes was an experience we will never forget.
We had hoped to reassure others they were not alone and in the process we proved it to ourselves as well.
We feel so much gratitude and love for all of you.

Thank you
To our amazing supporters.
Our family and friends who continue to support us every day.
Every person who saw the show, shared their stories and started conversations.
Everyone who gave us a hug and told us they got it.
For all the beautiful messages and wonderful reviews.

Thank you to our wonderful team.
Vanessa Jensen who was with us every step of the way as a director and a friend.
Lars Jensen who made the technical side of the show a breeze for us with his work.
Thomas Dimmick who supported our marketing strategy and our story focus.
Angela Leta Kaye who used her experience to assist with applications and copy.
There are so many others who listened to us, offered assistance and advice.
We appreciate you all so much.

Thank you The Pink Elephants Support Network for your support with the show and the amazing work you do all of the time!

Thank you State Theatre Centre of Western Australia for your belief and support.
Everyone we worked with was amazing!
Special thanks to George for her constant support, Mark for answering all of our many tech questions, Madeline for suggesting the coffee and tea debrief after the show, Roger the tech in our space and Our wonderful Front of House Team who were so supportive and understanding of our audiences.

Thank you everyone who has prioritised this conversation.
Special mention to ABC Radio, RTR and The Post who all featured our show in their content.

We have been asked many times this week how we feel now the show is over.
The truth is, we aren't done yet!
We will keep sharing, singing and shouting.
Together, we are not alone.

Much love,
Roe and Chris ❤
