All good things come to an end, but never completely! The wonderful Bunbury Sea Shanty Festival fostered many lasting connections and all the energy that went forth is still travelling on through creative waterways. 🐬🎵🫶

Ahoy All!

After two great years, the Bunbury Sea Shanty Festival is winding down.

What began as an endeavour to bring sea shanty singing to a greater audience here in the Southwest grew into something truly special for our community. From the involvement of various community groups, local businesses and artists from around Australia the Bunbury Sea Shanty Festival brought people together for the joy of sea shanty singing.

To every performer, volunteer, organiser, sponsor, and supporter who helped make the festival what it was — thank you. Your enthusiasm, professionalism and generosity turned this event into something far greater than we ever imagined.

To all the attendees over the two years, we hope you enjoyed yourself at our festival and your time in the City of Bunbury. Thank you for coming along, raising your voices in song and joining in the joyous experience.

While the festival itself is coming to an end, the spirit of sea shanty singing — the music, the camaraderie, and the sense of community — will live on in all of us who were lucky enough to be part of it.

Thank you for the songs, the stories, and the memories. ⚓🎶

As promised, another update on what we have been doing lately.
Let’s start with 🌟Steven Foy…
in short, he has become an international cruise ship CELEBRITY🕺🛳️ making it to the finals in a rather widely publicized Kareoke competition 🎙️ on board a cruise to the Pacific. 🏝️🍹🍸🥥 here’s a birdseye view of his stunning final performance. It’s clear he is the crowd favourite and by all reports, he had very little privacy whilst on board! 🎙️FANS GALORE were star struck by his charm and exceptional vocal delivery that we are coming to know and love. 👏👏👏🎵

What a wonderful night this was at Goldfields Repertory Club - Community Theatre with The Night of the Muses for their sold out Cabaret extravaganza in August of last year. The local Arts scene is alive and well in Kalgoorlie - Boulder.
We will posting here over the next few days with updates on what we have been up to recently.

This dear gentlemen pictured below is Peter Eastwood. Peter had a very special custom designed pirate hat made for him by none other than S’Katt’s madd hatter Steven Foy as part of his impressive garb to go along with chariot, The Black Pearl 🏴‍☠️
