At the FULL MOON on 21st/22nd June my new single FALL ON ME from my 2nd album UNDER COVERS will be released. (Click link to find out all the details)

All the issues I was having with my 1st album called COVER UP have been solved and this full album will also be released at this FULL MOON.

The issues I had come about after choosing to change my Artist name after I had already released all the songs from COVER UP as singles. To solve the issue, my producer needed to change all the released versions of these songs just enough so they can be recognized as new tracks and placed under my new Artist name across all music platforms. This means that over the next few days all the singles from COVER UP will disappear permanently and you will need to check out the full album.

I am now choosing to take time out from the recording studio for a few months, so I can focus on working with my vocal coach to help me overcome my stage fright and work on stage presence. I have an opportunity to sing on stage for the first time publicly at a special event in September 2024. I will give more details on this event closer to the date.

My stage fright has been a long-standing issue since I was a child. I believe I would have been labelled with having Selective Mutism if that label existed during my schooling days. You couldn’t shut me up when I felt safe around family and close friends, but when around groups of people my nervousness would restrict my throat to the point I couldn’t speak even when I tried to. This has also been an issue when I wanted to sing.

I overcome my issue with talking in front of groups by rehearsing over and over to the point I could memories presentations when they were required of me.

Singing has always been a huge part of my life but only when there was nobody around to hear me. Singing has always been my biggest way to release stress and all emotions I had stored up inside.

In 2021 I chose to face my fear of singing publicly and this lead me down the journey I am currently on. I found a vocal coach I felt comfortable enough to sing in front of and who understood my situation. We have been working hard to get me to the point I felt relaxed in the recording studio to be able to record all the cover songs I have released for others to hear.

Singing on stage is my next big step on my journey to push through my fears so I can live my life free to be the person who I have chosen to be. I am feeling so much gratitude towards all the opportunities that have been opening new doors of possibilities for me over the past few years to get me to this point. I am someone who never stops when I have my mind set on achieving something.

I feel sharing my personal story might help encourage others to also push past their fears so they too can see a real possibility of one day making their dreams become their reality.

🤩COVER UP album UPDATE 🤩

Hello Beautiful Souls 💖

WOW I am so happy to be at this point in time where I can write this post. What a learning journey it has been for me to create this album.

I got the idea to create it while working with my vocal couch. To date, I have never sung on stage although I wanted to share my singing voice with others. Learning to write my own songs is something I am planning to give my time to in 2025. So singing covers is my only option I currently have to create albums.

I have loved learning all that I have about recording music in a professional studio, which just so happens is owned by my vocal coach who produced all these songs on this album. It was extremely helpful having my vocal coach reminding me how to get the best out of my voice while in the recording booth.

I am also learning so much about the music industry and I just had one very big lesson learnt regarding choosing to change my artist name after already release songs.

Some music platforms do not allow for artist to change their name once their songs are released on their streaming platforms. Due to this, all my songs that I released as singles would always be under my old name Awakening Enchantress, if I don't pull them down and reload them with some changes from how they currently are.

This is not the end of the world, just a learning experience I can now share here to hopefully give other music artists some insight before making the choice to change their name.

Today I am heading into the recording studio to edit all my songs slightly, so I can reload them altogether on one album under my new artist name Angel Enchantress. I have chosen to only put 8 out the 9 songs onto this first album because I feel one of them doesn't go with the vibe of the other songs. I may hold on to that song to put on my third album, but only time will tell if I do.

I will be leaving the 8 singles up on all platforms until I am ready to release their edited versions as a full album. Hopefully this will not take to long. The down side of having to do this means if anyone had my current songs saved in a playlist, these songs will disappear and need to be readded from the new versions off the full album.

I am currently working on my second album which I plan to release the first single at the next NEW MOON on June 6th.

I will keep you all posted regarding all of these changes.
