A través de una resolución que tuvo 121 votos a favor, 5 abstenciones y 0 en contra, la Cámara de Diputados solicitó al Presidente de la República "implementar cursos obligatorios de danza folclórica en todos los niveles educativos, con énfasis en la enseñanza de la cueca tradicional chilena".

📌 El documento, enviado el 11 de marzo, señala que si bien "[la cueca] se escucha junto a la familia para celebrar las Fiestas Patrias (...), lamentablemente muchas personas no saben interpretar esta danza".

📍 "Hemos visto con pesar que muchas autoridades no saben bailar su baile nacional, y por ello queremos eliminar cualquier barrera de acceso a la instrucción", agrega el escrito.
