O'Brien Academy of Irish Dancing

O'Brien Academy of Irish Dancing Teaching Irish Dance to all ages and capability levels for competition, culture and fitness. Students also take part in yearly grade exams.

Rose (ADCRG) started teaching dancing in Perth in 1991 having obtained her teachers certificate with An Coimisuin, Rose is also a qualified adjudicator which has given her plenty of opportunity to travel all over the world to judge. The O'Brien Academy has had many champions over the years in both solo and team competitions. Students of the Academy have competed at State, National and Internation

al levels with dancers travelling to the Australian National Championship, North American Nationals and World Championships which is the highest level of competition. The Academy has performed on TV, at corporate events, weddings and have also done many displays at festivals and private functions. Rose's two daughters Annemarie and Martina (TCRG) have now joined in teaching at the O’Brien Academy after many successful years at both Australian and International competitions.

Hi Everyone

As you all know we have group of dancers getting ready to compete at the Australian International Oireachtas in Tweed Heads Gold Coast in July

Travelling to these Championships does come with a lot of expenses so we are running a Quiz night for our AIO team to try and raise some funds to help alleviate some of these and also show support to these dancers who will be representing the OBrien Academy.

We really hope everyone can come along for a night of knowledge testing, Games and just great Craic!
