THE TIME HAS COME!
**WARNING, LONG POST**
***PLEASE DONT UNFOLLOW THE PAGE"""
With mixed emotions, the time has come to finish my time as a DJ/MC. I recently met with two amazing couples that have booked me for their Weddings in March, and I am excited to DJ/MC my last two Weddings for such awesome people. We are going to have a great time with their guests. I am thankful that I will get to finish my time on a high note.
In regards to the Weddings over the last few years, I have photos and videos that I will post as flashbacks in the coming months. As people that book me know, I dont really promote this page anymore as most bookings are word of mouth. I am thankful to the people that have trusted me for their Wedding or Functions, the people who recommended me and the people that came along to functions to party and have fun! Thank you to the Beautiful Couples and Familys I have met. Hearing your life stories and witnessing the Love, has been such a highlight.
In the early days, I did many kids Parties and Discos for schools as well as some functions. I especially want to thank my Sister & Brother in Law Sandi & Darren Keley, my Sister Colleen and my Parents in Law Dave & Carolyn for believing in me and hiring me for their Partys or Functions. It means so much for family to support you by hiring you and I cant thank you enough. Thank you to family and friends that have recommended me either verbally or via Facebook. I often get told that people have done this, and I never get a chance to thank everyone for their support. Thank you to Baldivis Farm Stay (Country Charm Weddings) who have become my number 1 venue by recommending me to their Brides & Grooms. Your friendship has meant alot. I want to especially thank my Wife Tracy and My Sons Thomas, Bryce and Sean. They have been so supportive. Without them I couldnt have achieved all these years as a DJ. The support shown by them by helping set up, pack up, run equipment to me, bring me food, letting me sleep in and accepting me being absent for important things has been amazing. I have endless stories about my time as a DJ that I would love to share. I truly could write a book about how fun it has been. I have shed a tear at Weddings, I have laughed so hard and I have experienced so much joy and some unfortunate things. But, the good has far outweighed the bad and I wouldnt change a thing.
My goal was always to have fun and provide a great service. And ultimately, a unique and memorable experience.
What now? Well I am hoping to package up the business for sale and looking for someone that may like to take on a fun side hustle. So, if you know anyone interested, then please reach out.
After this, I am going to help my Sons set up their new small business called "The Lefty Co" which focuses on all things media. They may even get into event photography and videography, so keep an eye out for them.
Lastly, thanks for the dance moves, the song requests, the belting out of ballards and the party that you all brought along to the shows.
Keep Dancing & Keep Smiling!
See you on the Dance Floor.
Troy
