What an adventurous 4 weeks it’s has been for the team. Every day was filled with dreaming, laughing, and writing a fun story.

They’ve definitely got something special coming up in the near future. It might even involve cannons, acrobatics, fire eating, tightrope walking and accountants!

Hopefully this won’t be au revoir to Midland Junction Arts Centre but à bientôt! Thanks again for being wonderful hosts.

And…We’re…Back!

After a leisurely hiatus, the team that brought you A Nought For A Cross (Subiaco Arts Centre, 2021) have been cooking up another theatrical treat.

A big shout out to the Midland Junction Arts Centre team for providing a great home for the last couple of weeks. Their warmth and expertise have been integral to this first stage development.

Hopefully next year & beyond this will be a hot ticket in town!

Dear Comrades,

Wanted to bring to your generous attention that the historical Midland Junction Arts Centre have a fundraising campaign to light up the venue! After many years, this artistic hub is looking for help in gathering funds to update its lighting. This will cut running costs and improve energy consumption and visitor experiences.

This venue is currently under the auspices of the wonderful Mundaring Arts Centre. They have been champions of creating meaningful spaces and events for pretty much every artistic form. This is an opportunity to support a solid arts org and help artists work shine bright.

Also what’s exciting about this campaign is that for every dollar you donate it will be matched (double bubble!). Thanks to Creative Partnerships Australia PLUS all donations over $2 are tax deductible.

Dear Comrades,

It is the season for supporting amazing local artists with Fringe World Festival & Perth Festival on our streets. There are many sightings to be had! But here on the Channel, we think it would be horrible of us if we didn’t give a shout out to Dyad, a new theatre project by up and coming legend Jordan Valentini.

Comrade Ryan was privy to a sneak peak of this Shadow Puppetry gem, and was blown away by the magic of this refreshing show and the team behind it. It’s part horror and fantasy. A few local legends behind this including Courtney Henri & Jono Battista. It opens this week, and Ryan would highly recommend seeing this show if you want some fun and escape those stresses of getting back to school.
