October Mini Art Challenge: The Little Things
Here's a simple creative challenge to try at home.
Create a collection of nine little things.
Take a page in your sketchbook and divide it into nine squares.
In each square, draw, paint or collage something small that catches your attention.
It could be a leaf, your morning coffee cup, a favourite pattern, a flower, a button or even a little patch of colour.
Use whatever materials you have handy — pencils, pens, paint or scraps of paper.
The idea isn't to make nine perfect pictures, but to notice the beauty in everyday things.
