Addi has really blown us away this year but particularly in the last month with her work ethic, drive, commitment and her obvious at home practicing to make sure she knows the choreography.

Our routine of the year competition is now open for submissions! 🕺🏼

It is such a fun competition and we love seeing all the routines together!! Voting will be opening soon for a week and winners announced on trophy presentation night!

And that's a wrap on our 2026 competition season!
Our last competition is a big one for us.
7 days, 15 hour days, around 115 performances (from KGGDS).

We truly do have something special at KGGDS. The family and community we have created is amazing and something not everyone gets to experience.

A big thank you to all of our teachers for the countless hours put in over the week and in the lead up to comps. For all the little and big jobs that were done and for just being so amazing before, during and after. We know our students appreciate you being there so much.

To our parents for getting all of our students to comps, hair and make up done and for being truly so supportive and helpful to any KGGDS student around. It really did feel like a village and I think all of our parents felt that too. Thank you for helping us create a supportive environment.

And to our students, you guys are THE BEST. We had the best week watching you all shine on stage, play outside or in the change room together, support each other in the audience and just be a family. Did we have some little moments of disagreements, yes, but would it truly be a family if we weren't close enough to feel comfortable disagreeing with each other. You all smashed it on and off the stage and we are so incredibly proud of you all!

Thank you again to everyone, thank you for making it an enjoyable week and most of all thank you for making everyone feel welcomed, loved, supported and part of our family. 💙❤️🖤

Day seven :)

Final day done! Another fantastic day full of amazing performances, good company and great attitudes:)
We are so proud of everyone that performed yesterday, seven days is a long time and you were all still pushing through!

A special little shout out to Simone and Amber who performed in the senior championship section. They both performed two incredible routines, putting on a great display for skill, athleticism and performance quality. Well done to you both.

So many fantastic performances, you were all beautiful!

Day four :)

What a great day!!
Day 4 has been our favourite day yet. Vibes were high, laughs were big, performances were incredible, it was a fantastic way to hit the half way point!

Well done to everyone that performed yesterday
With a special little shout out to Aiyana and Alannah for a fantastic musical theatre duo, great commitment and had everyone in stitches (especially Charlize) and to Simone and Amber for a jazz duo performance that was so in time it was like a masterpiece!!!!

You are all incredible, thank you for being the absolute best dance family. On stage and off we had a great time.
