Howdy there! The University Dramatic Society (UDS) is excited to present our Line Dancing Hoedown, raising money for our upcoming play, Backcounty Crossing!

Country music, cowboy boots, and and a room full of theatre folks - what’s a better way to spend a Friday night out? Whether you’re a regular bootscooter or a complete amateur, everyone is welcome. The event will include an hour of guided line dancing hosted by Perth’s very own Cherry Steppers , making it accessible for a range of skill levels. 🍒👢

🗓️DATE: Friday the 28th of August, 2026
⏰TIME: 6pm - 8:30pm (Line dancing begins at 7pm!)
📍LOCATION: Bentley Community Centre, Nyamup Way, Bentley WA 6102
🤑PRICE: $22.50 per person!

Aah, feeling nostalgic?

Before we go head first into our incredible show season of Semester two, let's take the time to appreciate all the hard work and quality performances our members provided to us all in Sem 1!

Starting with our fringes in the summer and going all the way into the winter break with our ever experimental alternative venue, each show welcomed in new faces and offered up unique experiences for cast, crew and audience members alike.

This semester will be no different in variety and excellence, so keep an eye out for ticket links, show fundraisers, and character posts 👀...

We can't wait to see what the rest of 2026 will bring 🥂

If you're just here to watch, UDS is partnering with MSS, DUWA, and a whole bunch of other creatives to put on an amazing variety show at the tavern. There'll be raffles, skits, dances, music, and a whole lotta collaboration and fun!
