“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” - Eleanor Roosevelt

Introducing Percussion All-Stars 15: RISING RHYTHMS, a showcase continuing our 8 year strong biannual Percussion All-Stars series that has showcased more than 250+ solo, duo and ensemble works, as well as over 120 percussionists from around the world!

For this edition, we have a big program of marimba, vibraphone, multi percussion, snare drum and more, with players from THE STUDIO By Adam Tan and Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) ranging from age 4 all the way to age 40 - truly capturing the spirit of percussion here in WA!

We've also temporarily moved to a new location - Shenton Park Community Centre - while we wait to move back to a university in 2027! This will be a fun recital type vibe with plenty of great music for all ages.

We also have FREE entry + a raffle + refreshments after - so please come and join us on Sunday 5th July afternoon at 3:30pm if you're keen to see some of the best rising talents in our community!

The end of a chapter 😇

It was an honour to host our final Marimbafest Australia event at the current ECU Mount Lawley campus of WAAPA, our home for the last 4 years!

Percussion All-Stars 14: FINALE was super fun and we had many emotional moments, as well as a huge variety of music, a fun audience and a great energy to farewell this campus that has been filled with beautiful music for over 40 years.

We finished our program with a rousing rendition of "Golden" from K-Pop Demon Hunters arranged by our long-time friend and WAAPA student Callum Fairweather, signifying bigger and better things to come!

As WAAPA moves to ECU City in 2026, we wish the best to all of our WAAPA family moving forward, and we look forward to seeing you at some new events in 2026 and beyond! Thank you for supporting Marimbafest 2025, Percussion All-Stars 13: SUPER STAGE and Percussion All-Stars 14: FINALE this year!

And thank you once again to the one and only Tim White OAM for generously supporting us as one of the greatest percussion leaders in Australia of all time - you are amazing and we couldn't have done all of this without you.

See you in 2026 and have a great holiday break!

The end of an era.

As the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA) moves to the new $1B ECU City campus in 2026, we celebrate the end of a 3-year chapter in the much loved Richard Gill Auditorium, where we hosted over 300 percussionists over this time period - 5 x Percussion All-Stars concerts and 3 x editions of our premier international event, Marimbafest.

So, we're commemorating this with one last concert in this space, Percussion All-Stars 14: FINALE (Sunday 23rd November 2025, 5pm)!

Join us as we bring together both veterans and new faces of percussion in our community, performing solos, duos and ensemble works in what will be our last event *ever* in the beautiful and memorable Richard Gill Auditorium.

This concert is FREE just like all All-Stars concerts - no tickets are needed, and we look forward to catching you on this Sunday afternoon for some incredible percussion music!
