(SIA) was established in 2014, with a view to breakthrough the barriers between the long standing cultural and religious values held by our Hazaragi society and the modern world. SIA values our culture and heritage, at the same, it is in our core objectives to confront and disapprove the culture of dictatorship and non-acceptance of democratic values, which have remained the basic part of our cult
ural values, for may centuries. For along time, our community based organisations have upheld such values, which have, nonetheless, resulted in failure. We believe, these have to change and we have to embrace the positive sociological, technological and societal changes. Therefore, the need to a more balanced approach to such changes, is inevitable. Furthermore, the exclusion of women from the decision making process, has long been practiced within our society and our respective organisations. Such, practices, effectively mean that we are deliberately excluding 50% of the stakeholders of our community from the decision making process. It, therefore, cannot be held to be a perfect decision – not even near perfect. Therefore, SIA is ambitious to work in Australia and broadly around the globe, around these issues and more, for the betterment of our community. We anticipate to develop a process, which could effectively work properly and be acceptable by our community as a whole.
