Taking bookings for 2027/2028!

It's not only photographer, venue, flowers and dress that are in your Top 5 when doing the initial planning. Booking your celebrant is critical to your day being a success!

I'm taking bookings now for the 2027/2028 season (yes, some people DO book 2 years in advance).

And of course, love doesn't happen in one location, and neither do I. I'm available to travel throughout Western Australia to help create a ceremony that feels authentically yours.

I look forward to bringing your beautiful love story to life.

Having had top-class interactions with two small businesses this week, it reminds me again, that when you are driven by service to others - the kindness just pours out.

I think it is truly what connects us - the joy of humanity itself.

What a gorgeous reminder as well, to BE that for every couple and client I have the privilege of working with.

There’s something deeply beautiful about witnessing two people choose each other - not just in the bright beginnings of life, but across seasons, stories, losses, growth, laughter and time.

Love changes shape as we do.
Sometimes it becomes softer. Steadier.

And sometimes, after all the years and all the living, you find the person who still knows the song in your heart - and gently sings it back to you when you need reminding.

That kind of love is worth celebrating at any age.

There are so many heartfelt ways to acknowledge those no longer with us during your wedding ceremony. Whether it is an empty seat with a 'reserved sign' or sharing beautiful words on behalf of you to remember them - it is always my privilege to honour those who have been loved so deeply.

And for those of you worried it might be a 'downer' or take away from the joy of your ceremony - nothing could be further from the truth.

Remembering those who have had an impact on our lives always fills our hearts with joy, love and wonderful memories.

"Laughter through tears is my favourite emotion" as Dolly Parton says in the movie, 'Steel Magnolias'. Celebrating all aspects of life is to fully experience being human.

If you would like to see your ceremony created with sensitivity, care and creativity - I'd love to chat with you.

To all the mumma's out there - I hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day yesterday.

One of my favourite books is this one - what it says in its pages is, it doesn't matter how old your children become, they will always be your baby.

My kids are all grown up now - and I'm an Amma as well ('Amma' is old Norse for Grannie) - but it doesn't matter how old they are (even if some of my boys are taller than me) - I can still remember every moment of their lives - memories from the past, watching them in the present, and looking to their futures that are still full of potential and promise.

And for the babies I've lost and my angel-daughter, who would have been in her twenties now - there is the bittersweetness of motherhood never realised. The grief and the ache that somehow still lingers, no matter how many years pass - because they will always be my babies too.

Wherever you are in your chapter of life - may there be joy and peace. And happiness as your celebrate your families, in all forms.

A little bit of laughter.
A few happy tears.
And a moment that feels completely you.

No awkward scripts. No copy-paste ceremonies.
Just something real.

Your kind of ceremony? Mine too. Let's chat.

Anybody else love a double rainbow? Something about them just makes you stop and take notice.

It makes me think of all the people, places and things I love.

Sometimes it just reminds me to stop and be in the moment - in the gratitude and awe of nature.

I'm curious - what does a double rainbow mean to you?

Always a privilege to be a vendor AND a guest!

I love that I was able to celebrate the planning and delivery of the ceremony and then stand back and enjoy the reception - watching my beautiful friends celebrate their love.

(P.S. I think it should be mandatory that we ALL have sparklers shooting upwards when we step outside - such a gorgeous element of the wedding!)

That glorious walk...

One of my favourite parts of the ceremony. A stunning bride, on the arm of someone she loves and admires. Whether it's a dad, mum, brother, sister, family or friend - this moment of walking towards the one you love, never ceases to be a highlight.

In this walk, when our gorgeous groom saw his bride, he wiped away a tear - just another stunning moment that speaks to the depth of love.

The rain threatened but never arrived. Overcast weather always makes for better photos anyway, right?

A stunning, goddess of a bride and a nervous groom. A bridal party that went on... and on... of the nicest people who you could ever hope to meet.

Delightful family and friends, with a proud grandma sitting in the front row with the sweetest smile I have ever seen.

Vows that were earnest and funny and loving and kind - promises to last a lifetime.

A stunning wedding where everything was the 'Goldilocks' version of events - 'just right.'

And me... with the privilege of looking at all the faces of the loving and the loved. The most joyful job in the world.
