The 'Cabaret Royalty Pageant' is a stunning showcase of the world's best cabaret, circus, comedy and variety talent. Contestants will battle it out through a series of 'game show' style shenanigans, talent rounds and a stunning couture parade. A celebratory expression of cabaret with the aim of delighting and entertaining our audience, showcasing new exciting works our fringe artists have on offer
and having a ball on stage. Held in Perth Western Australia every February, coinciding with the opening weekend of FRINGE WORLD, Come be a part of history as 'Cabaret Royalty' celebrates it's inaugural year in 2017. Judged by a distinguished panel of show producers, accomplished performers, industry leaders and a portion by the audience themselves. Who will take home the crown, over $2000 in cash and prizes and the prestigious international title of 'Cabaret Royalty King or Queen 2017'?
'Cabaret Royalty Pageant' is produced by Menagerie Entertainment Perth, producer of 'Twisted Vaudeville Circus' established in 2009, 'The Birdcage; A Menagerie Of Exotic Dames' and 'The B***y Trap'. Award nominations include - FRINGE WORLD 'Best Cabaret' 2012, 2013 & 2014. Proud Awards 'Best Cabaret' 2016.

'Cabaret Royalty' was created to showcase the incredible level of talent in Perth at the international FRINGE WORLD festival each year. It is a serious competition with a prestigious title, but a large part of our focus is making it entertaining and fun for both our audience and our contestants. Every contestant receives professional photos, a sponsor gift, and the winner will go home with a prize package worth over $2,000 in cash and prizes. There is also several runner up recognition's, including 'Best Local Talent' to support and recognise Perth talent. Presented during opening weekend of FRINGE WORLD in the historic 'De Parel' Spiegeltent, the show is an excellent promotional opportunity for artists to show audiences a snapshot of their up coming shows in the festival. Cabaret Royalty is free to compete in, a portion is judged by the audience themselves, and is open to all types of Cabaret styles. Comedy, Dance, Circus, Burlesque, Drag, Avant-garde and everything in between are all welcome to apply. We want to see a unique reflection of your individual artistry, while also being genuinely engaging or entertaining to our audience. Prizes
