For over 52 years Gail Meade has been teaching hundreds of children and young adults the art of Dance. The centre enjoys Perth’s largest assemblage of exceptionally motivated and fully qualified teachers (including two of Gails’s daughters and her daughter in-law) along with other senior teachers al

l of whom share the ethos of excellence and enjoyment, taking great pride in their ability to bring out the best in students in all dance disciplines

Students have the opportunity to be trained for examinations through to teachers Diplomas in Classical, Jazz, Contemporary and tap. Competition work is available for students who wish to develop performance skills, or a student may dance for sheer enjoyment and exercise. Over the years the high results achieved by the Gail Meade

Performing Arts Centre speak for themselves with students winning many State awards and scholarships and some students going on to dance professionally interstate or over seas. Gail is very proud of how the school has travelled from its very humble beginnings in an old RSL hall with 15 students to where it is today. The facilities at the Gail Meade PAC include:

TB to our amazing line dancing class last month with .carroll 🤠 We had the besssst time but now we’re getting back into our regular adults jazz & tap classes for the rest of June.

This Tuesday the 9th we’re so lucky to have the incredible Deby Holmes taking a one hour jazz class - you don’t want to miss this one!

What. A. Weekend. ✨

Our dancers lit up the Dance Quest stage and made us incredibly proud! Yes, we’re celebrating the placings, awards and achievements…but we’re equally proud of every dancer who stepped out under those lights, embraced the moment and danced their hearts out.

Beyond the stage, our students represented GMPAC with kindness, respect, teamwork and unwavering support for one another. Those qualities will always mean just as much as any result.

To our incredible teachers: thank you for being the heart of it all. For every early morning, late night, pep talk, correction, re-pattern, hug, cheer and moment spent believing in our dancers. The impact you have reaches far beyond the stage, and we are endlessly grateful for everything you do.

To our dancers and families: thank you for an AMAZING weekend. We loved every minute of watching you do what you love. Congratulations to you all! 🌟

We’ve been absolutely loving watching our GM dancers take the stage at delivering incredible performances and achieving some fantastic results. We can’t wait to share more comp results very soon!

But this was one moment we simply couldn’t keep to ourselves...

A huge congratulations to two of our Senior Advanced dancers and who performed beautifully in their solos and were awarded:

🌟 1st Place Classical Champion – Shylarose Crummer
🌟 2nd Place Classical Champion – Holly Schultz

These results are a reflection of years of dedication, discipline, countless hours spent refining their craft in the studio and the elite training offered here at GMPAC. The commitment these girls bring to every class, rehearsal and performance is something we’re incredibly proud of, and it’s wonderful to see that hard work rewarded on stage.

To all of our dancers and troupes who have already performed this weekend — congratulations!!! And for those still yet to hit the stage, enjoy every moment, we’re cheering you on every step of the way.

Student Spotlight ✨

Some of the most important achievements happen quietly in the studio. It’s the hard work no one sees, the determination to keep improving, the willingness to learn, the resilience to keep showing up, and the positivity that lifts everyone around them.

Today we’re celebrating Claudia — a student who embodies all of those qualities and more. Her consistency and work ethic never go unnoticed, and the growth we’ve seen from her both technically and personally has been so special to watch.

Claudia approaches every class with focus, kindness and an eagerness to learn, making her not only a hardworking dancer, but also an absolute pleasure to teach in every class.

Lately our feed has been filled with comp results, trophies, medals, placements and incredible achievements on stage — and we are SO proud of every dancer who steps out there and gives it their all! ✨

But dance is about so much more than just results. Some of the most important achievements happen quietly in the studio.

Today we want to celebrate one very special student who embodies everything we believe dance should be about:

Olesya, your work ethic never goes unnoticed. You are one of the hardest workers in the room, always arriving with a smile, a positive attitude, and a genuine eagerness to learn and grow every single class. Thank you for being the kind of dancer who inspires those around you simply by the way you show up. We are so proud of you, and we hope you know how valued and appreciated you are within our GMPAC family 💛🖤

Technique and control aren’t built overnight. They’re developed with care, consistency and expert guidance. At GMPAC, our ballet program is designed to build the strong technical foundation every versatile dancer needs.

🩰 Through dedicated training and attention to detail, our students develop strength, control and artistry that carries across every genre they perform.
🩰 With fully qualified teachers in both RAD and Comdance, our dancers are guided through a program that values precision, discipline and beautiful technique.

From our youngest ballerinas to our senior advanced dancers, the work put in at the barre shows in every line, every turn and every performance. We’re so proud of the commitment and progress we see in our ballet classes each week.

Shoutout to our incredible ballet faculty for their passion, knowledge and dedication to developing the next generation of dancers 🙌✨
