A collaboration by Matthew McVeigh & Curtis Taylor
dogs have long been part of life on Country. Guardians, companions and silent storytellers. In this vibrant collection, Matthew McVeigh and Curtis Taylor, together with Indigenous artists, transform these figures into striking contemporary sculptures that celebrate culture, community and connection.

Each sculpture is individually hand-painted, carrying unique patterns, stories and artistic expression that honour the diversity and richness of First Nations cultures. Together, they stand as a powerful reminder of resilience, identity and the enduring bond between people, animals and Country.

Now on display at KAMILĖ GALLERY 37 St George’s Terrace, Perth these remarkable works invite viewers to experience the beauty of collaboration and the power of storytelling through art.
