Some of our dedicated staff were lucky enough to be a part of this. WAAPA jazz, dance, and Opera students came and watched the collaboration for this amazing project on the dress rehearsal, overseen by his excellency the governor himself.
How good are the arts?!
A week on from opening night, we’re still buzzing from the 2026 Governor’s Benefit Ball series at Government House WA.
Set against the splendour of the Government House Ballroom, From Red Dirt to Red Carpet brought together the artistry of West Australian Ballet, West Australian Opera (WAO) and the Western Australian Jazz Project for three extraordinary evenings of music, movement and song.
Most importantly, the series raised more than $1 million for four outstanding beneficiaries supporting communities right across Western Australia. We are immensely proud to have played a part in an occasion that so beautifully united cultural excellence, generosity and community spirit.
Thank you to His Excellency the Honourable Chris Dawson AC APM, Government House WA, our fellow artists, production team, supporters and everyone who made these unforgettable nights possible.
