The Arts and Culture Trust (ACT WA) is proud to have initiated, produced and presented the Perth Film Studios Careers and Open Days on 11-12 September 2026.

It was an incredible two days with visitors exploring ACT WA’s premier screen production facility and getting a behind-the-scenes look at the people, passion and processes that bring screen productions to life.

The event celebrated our talented Western Australian crews and creatives, and inspired students and emerging talent to explore the many pathways into the industry. The enthusiasm and sense of community felt across the two days has us incredibly excited for the future of WA’s screen industry and Perth Film Studios.

A huge thank you to everyone who worked behind the scenes. An incredible 1,313 people contributed to delivering the program, representing 107 organisations across WA’s screen, arts, education, entertainment, and events sectors. From industry professionals, educators, panellists, artists, and performers to production crews, suppliers and our ACT WA staff—the scale of collaboration and support was incredible.
