It’s been said many times before but it’s true that “there ain’t no party like a party”!!!! 💃💃💃

This is all thanks to the amazing founder and the amazing tribe of women she has created, and we all continue to create our own squads together.

It is the ultimate feel good community where we have each other’s backs, it really is supportive and positive and a place I feel I can be myself.

This was my first girl’s night out since having P, and although I didn’t quite let my hair down like I used too, it was definitely a step in the right direction to reclaiming who I am, outside of being a new mum and all my responsibilities.

But on a more accessible basis, that’s what class is too, an opportunity to shake off your worries, really dance like no one is watching (because they aren’t and it’s dark) and give yourself that hour of freedom and movement. It is the best therapy and I love it!!!

I hope you can come to class and experience this for yourself.

Thank you all so much for joining me last night!!!

Mondays are my favourite with you squad and nothing is slowing down this pregnant Mama!!! 😘😘

A few of you were surprised by how much I have popped this week (even this pic is over a week old so I am getting bigger every day and a week doesn’t go by unnoticed) 😜 but even more reason why I love workout so much as you can take it to your level as the only change in my class is I’ve finally stopped burpees and tuck jumps myself and take my low option of a squat or alternate move. You’ll still find I am just as high energy and it’s still a full body workout!

So adaptable and fun, so keep moving with me and coming to my Monday night class as I love seeing all my regulars and newbies there too.

Thank you for last night squad!!!!

So much fun to be back on stage and sweating our butts off together!!! I actually surprised myself and feel so grateful to my 17 week pregnant body that I could push as hard as we did last night!

Whatever your fitness goals are for 2024, I believe you can achieve them while having the most fun possible working out in a class !!! 💪💪💪

Can’t wait to see you next week squad, same time, same place!!!

Oh hey there squad. Happy Tuesday

Just checking in, to see how you are all doing? As I shared, in my stories this afternoon, my mental health has been a bit up and down the past two weeks, with feeling a bit overwhelmed and stressed, forever trying to find that ever delicate work/life/family balance that has been testing me lately.

I wanted to share and reach out to those that may be going through similar things and to reassure you, you are not alone.

I am a big believer in putting one step in front of the other, staying strong be simply breathing through the hard stuff and realising that you really do have the resources within yourself to handle whatever is in front of you, sometimes we just have to dig a little deeper to find it.

Alternatively, we can also shake it out and dance our stress away.. and like many others I’ve found a real safe space within my community. I aim to bring that to my classes where you can come and give yourself that space to breathe, to dance, to have a bit of fun to remember life is life and you just have to ride it out and can enjoy the process along the way.

Wishing all the beautiful Mamas in the world the happiest of Mother’s Day 💕🌷🥰💖

I am forever grateful to my Mama for birthing me, giving me such a great upbringing and continuing to be a huge source of inspiration and joy.

Being a Mama is my greatest gift in life and my children teach me what it means to truly love and be loved in return.

I am proud of many accomplishments in my life but nothing comes close to the joy I feel being a Mama. It’s not always easy being a parent but it is by far the best thing I’ve ever done and I wouldn’t change it for the world ❤️

Thinking of all those mothers, step mums, mothers to be, single mums, mother figures, mothers grieving with miscarriage or child loss, those grieving their own mothers, those wanting desperately to be mums, Dads that are both Mum and Dad and every other form of mother and all the inner intricacies that make up motherhood!!! You are all amazing ❤️❤️❤️

Two weeks now that I’ve been home in Perth after an epic holiday away in NZ with the family.

It has taken that long to adjust back into normal work/life routine due to a bit of work overload after being in holiday mood but class has definitely helped. Having a much needed restful weekend has also helped and so now feeling ready to smash out this week as we head into May!!!

The new is so so good I know you’re going to love it and it’s coming for you tomorrow night at class!

Hello friends!!!!

Long time no see!!! But now I’m back!!!!

I arrived home safely in Perth last night with my family so just adjusting to the time difference and switching already from holiday to work mode for the week ahead.

My heart is so full after spending two and a half beautiful weeks in my home country New Zealand. We drove over 2000 kms, from Auckland down to Rotorua and Taupo all the way up to the Bay of Islands through Dargaville and Whangarei. We did and saw as much as we could and got a huge dose of history, culture, art, nature but most importantly quality family time from road trip adventures as our family of 4, to seeing as much extended whanau & friends as possible over the Easter break. It was an amazing trip with all our family, really grateful to have as much time together as we did and of course the kids absolutely loved it.

But reality finally hits and it’s time to get back into it as although I did as much bush walking as I could, I haven’t done a workout the entire time I’ve been away so I have serious withdrawals and so excited to be back to teach my regular class tomorrow night at Sista fitness Midland. My fitness might be a bit off but I’ll do my best, you know I will and still get ready to sweat!!!

See you there tomorrow night at 6.30 at Sista and then again on Thursday night for my 6pm class.

Feeling so grateful and rejuvenated to be on holiday in my home country of NZ.

Everywhere you turn you are surrounded by beauty, the nature here is just awe-inspiring and made even more special sharing it with my family.

Just a little reminder that if you are looking for a fix just before the Easter break, has you covered tonight at our Thursday night 6pm class at Bassendean Seniors & Community Centre tonight!!!

Head on down and you will have a ball, plus get in a great workout so you can indulge in Easter eggs guilt free over the weekend!!
