Iโve been sharing fragments of this project, but I wanted to delicately open up a little more into it.
This work is my baby, itโs been growing inside me for a long time & it carries pieces of my soul with it in every step. Itโs truly a dream, slowly bringing this to life โจ
Vestige begins itsโ journey as part of the Incubator Development Program, for The Blue Room Theatre 2026 program. This involves 3 straight weeks, in April, where we dive deep in and develop this work, in their studio space. I am overwhelmed with gratitude for TBRT, thank you for trusting me with this vision ๐ค
My plan is to carry this on after the Incubator, to work towards finally presenting the show towards the end of 2026.
I am absolutely honoured & blessed to have Oliver Hughes as my creative partner throughout this journey. Having another staunch Blakfulla by my side, who not only believes in my vision, but works to understand it and gently holds space - is truly a gift ๐ค More about my wondrous team will come soon!
