After what was an awesome (and very busy) opening weekend, here's some more of our super cool production members!!!
JASON
Jason started performing at the age of 2 and never stopped. In the last year, Jason had performed ensemble roles in School of Rock and My Fair Lady, along with the role of Squidward in the Spongebob Musical at the Regal Theatre.
Prior to this he has performed lead and ensemble roles in First Date the Musical, Thoroughly Modern Mille and Legally Blonde. Before making his foray into musical theatre, Jason worked as a professional dancer and performer in both Perth and Sydney. Working on tv shows such as So You Think You Can Dance, The X-Factor and the Voice. He has also dabbled with some work in film, having been in a national advertisement, and an internationally release feature film.
Jason met his friends in cartoon heroes over a year ago, and is extremely grateful he gets to perform with them again.
CHLOE
Chloe’s arts training comes from her years of dancing in various genres, and smaller scale high school productions. She started in the arts world at age 3 and hasn’t stopped since. Chloe has just recently finished her Bachelor of Arts Degree at Curtin University, majoring in Theatre Arts.
In the last 20+ years, Chloe has been involved on and off stage in various productions including Choreography on My Fair Lady, and Lighting Designer on School of Rock the Musical. Both 2022 productions scored Chloe a Finley nomination for the areas of lighting and choreography. She is the producer of Chlo&Co and is super excited to be bringing another entertaining cabaret performance to Fringe World Festival alongside some very talented friends.
PETER (PEAR)
(Sound Technician)
Pear has been in theatre for 26 years. Starting on stage at 17. He has Performed in over 100 productions as well as doing all aspects of backstage work for community theatre. He has since gone on to graduate WAAPA in live production, props and scenery. He has worked in London's West End as a Deputy Master Carpenter at The Harold Pinter Theatre for 3 years.
Upon returning to Perth he became the Head Mechanist at State Theatre. He is currently employed as The Head Technician at Don Russell Performing Arts Centre. While he works in Theatre, Performing his life.
