Paint, Create & Congregate is saying farewell to the Bali Coconut tonight and heading home after a much needed holiday break to rest and reset.

Tomorrow the 2nd September the 'Bring your Own Art Project' Workshop will be held.
A no cost Workshop, as I will be coming straight from the airport.

So come along, bring your art project and tools and enjoy some creative, social fun.

Paint, Create & Congregate is on a week's break, holiday to rest and reset.

No Wednesday Painting Workshop this week the 26th August at Panania Diggers

However, will be back the following Wednesday the 2nd September.

This workshop will be a 'Bring your Own Art Project' and will be a NO cost Workshop. As I will be coming straight from the airport.

So come along, bring your art project and tools and enjoy some creative, social fun.

Did a little something different in the high dependency dementia unit for art class today.

We made a group project 'Flower Power'

Had each of them stamp with sponge paint on kraft wrapping paper. They enjoy that process. I then scrunched each of their artworks and made into petals (i did warn them, I will be scrunching 😉)

It was cup of tea time for them, so I built the flower at the table, with a few adding suggestions and of course the placement of the glitter and sparkle piping for the centre of the flower.

Whoolah... look at the end result.

The flower was added to the real flower garden on the patio for everyone to enjoy.

DAFFODIL BOUQUETS

A very engaging group activity for aged care classes. Simple but effective.

Colouring to taping a stick to the back to some clever placements of our the pretty Daffodils to build the sweet bouquets.

Each unit has a Daffodil Bouquet to enjoy and to share with staff and visitors in raising awareness to not only creative awesomeness, but to raise awareness and reflection for Cancer Council 'Daffodil Day' this Thursday 20th August. Yellow 💛
