🌾🌾🌾🌾Sugar City Titles Post Race Wrap Up🌾🌾🌾🌾
What an incredible day Saturday was for the 2026 Sugar City Titles! After a nervously wet and windy practice day on Friday sponsored by J&B Pest Control, over 80 competitors took to the track under beams of glorious sunshine. Racing kicked off shortly after the driver’s briefing with each class having three challenging heats and then a final to battle it out. Qualifying classes included the bigger groups of Cadet 12s, Sportsman Lights and the Junior KA100. Racing was fast and the competition was tight throughout the day. Kev Davies was simply fantastic throughout the day with his commentary – thanks Kev “the noise “ Davies commentary for coming up and being a part of our biggest event of the year.
A big thank you to our volunteers, officials and committee for hosting a really good day of racing. Bigger events always make us a bit nervous, but when competitors race well, follow the rules and show good sportsmanship, the events run smoothly and efficiently. From the canteen to the tower, the grid to the pits, the support of everyone doing their bit allows the club to continue to thrive. We cannot forget to mention again our fabulous sponsors who have contributed in such a huge way to the success of the day. Thank you so very much for your support in what is a difficult climate for many businesses. Members – please support the companies that support your passion for karting – they truly deserve more praise than what we can give.
