Well done to our DL Company students for representing DANCE LEGACY so wonderfully, both on and off the stage, at Melbourne Ballet Competition on the weekend!

It was such a busy day, and we couldn’t be prouder of the way you supported one another backstage. Helping each other get changed, making sure everyone was ready, cheering each other on and working together to make every item the best it could be.

Your teamwork, maturity and kindness made us incredibly proud. Being part of Company is so much more than what happens on stage, and you truly showed what it means to be a DL team.

A huge congratulations to all of our incredible Dance Legacy students who took to the floor last weekend for their ATOD Jazz & Tap Examinations!

We are SO proud of the hard work, dedication and determination you have shown throughout your preparation. Watching you walk into those exams with confidence and give it your all was amazing!

Well done to all of the DL students who undertook thier Royal Academy of Dance Australia Ballet Examinations over the weekend. You should all be so proud of the time, effort and dedication you have put in your ballet studies.

Thank-you very much to Miss Paris, Miss Juliet and Miss Loren on all you effort you have put in to preparing students for this years examinations and also your time throughout the exam period. Students came out smiling and proud and confident in their work. We appreciate all you do for our students and they are very lucky to have your experience and guidance prepare them for their examinations.

Please join us in congratulating students Esher, Eden and Jersey for their wonderful efforts competing and representing DL at the Australian Teachers of Dancing (RTO 31624) National Championships in Brisbane over the weekend. The girls took place in an unseen class and then performed a solo on stage against all the place getters from each state around Australia!

We are so excited to share that Esher won the Sub-Junior Jazz Champ and Eden placed 2nd in the Junior Tap. We are very proud of all three students and how they represented us fabulously at this event.

Thank-you to Dance Aid Melbourne for another fantastic show! Our Open Company Troupe performed their Hip Hop Troupe to raise money for the Make-A-Wish Australia foundation! Always a fun event every year and love seeing all the different dance schools come together to raise money for a great cause.

Thank you for everything you do for the DANCE LEGACY family. From inspiring our youngest dancers, sharing plenty of laughs with our teens, bringing the fun to our adult classes, and working tirelessly behind the scenes. Your passion, dedication and care shine through in everything you do.

DL simply wouldn’t be what it is without you, and we are so incredibly grateful for all that you give to our studio. You are loved and adored by our students, families and staff alike, and we hope today is as special as you are!

We congratulate our DL Company students on a very positive and successful eisteddfod over the last 10 days. Students of all ages performed over 100 routines - with solos, duos, trios and troupes over all age groups. Students performed wonderfully on stage and demonstrated lovely sportsmanship backstage and we are very proud of each and everyone one of you!

We congratulate Esher R & Eden T who took out 2nd and 3rd respectively in the 10 and under 14 Tap Championship; Olivia N who took out the 12 and under 14 Novice Aggregate; Kenzie M who took out the 8 and under 10 Novice Aggregate; Cadence B who was awarded the 8 and under 10 Novice Encouragement Award; and Enzo who won the 6 and under 8 Adjudicators Award.

We thank our wonderful dance mums and dads who brought all the students to Morwell over the last 10 days ready to go with hair and make-up done and with a smile on their faces (and coffee in their hands!) We thank dance mum Sheree and dance mum Sarah for all your work on the committee in preparation for the comp and we also thank the 2026 President Chelsey on all your efforts to put on another fun and friendly event for our students. It’s always such a highlight of their dance year!

Well done everyone! Now to rest up for a big term 3 🤍🖤

The biggest thank-you and Chookas to the wonderful and ever so talented Miss Kassie who is about to begin rehearsals for the upcoming 70th anniversary of ‘My Fair Lady’ coming to the Arts Centre Melbourne this November! We have loved having you at the studio this year on a Tuesday evening with our Legacies & Opens and we wish her all the very best on your next endeavour. And we’re very sure we will see her around at the studio again in the future!
