Such an amazing composer. Vivaldi is one of my favourites. If you have ever tried to graphically analyse a piece of music you will know how hard it can be. This clip is a great example of how music can be "seen", painting images in our mind with the use of different instruments and melody.

It seems that winter has hit us. So I thought we could all do with some winter related music.

Love this song! A cover of Simon and Garfunkel's song, and in my opinion they made a good song even better.

Discovered some amazing masterclass videos given by Joyce DiDonato an American Opera singer. She has an incredible way of describing how to express a song producing better vocal quality. Here is one of of her youtube clips.

I love how she makes the student develop the character and understand the story line behind the Aria.

One of the most important parts of singing, is to understand the content of the song. Whether you are singing an italian Aria or a hit from the top 40, knowing what you are singing about is a bonus and helps you convey the feeling of a song. Music is emotion after all.
