My latest creation. Recently I retired the metal fab tools to start fresh in the new realm of lampworking. I felt the need for a new technical challenge and a new "palette". My good friend Masahiro Toyofuku at Nirvana Glass art introduced me to this artform and after my first lesson with him I was hooked.
The wife and I decided to travel around Aus so obviously I had to build a portable solar powered glass studio in our campervan. The power system needs some tweaks but it performs pretty well.

Had a torch session in the temporary studio with my teacher Masa last night. Definitely filled in a lot of holes in my currently limited lampwork technique. Thanks Masa!
