Wild Women of Arkaroola PLUS/Wilderism

You are invited to an exhibition of my works to be shown at the new AustrAsia Cultural Centre in Medway NSW from 11-12 October 10 am - 4 pm daily.

This is a brand new cultural development on the Southern Highlands and I am very excited to be part of this wonderful festival of events.

I have chosen outback desert scenes that reflect my love of this wide coloured land we live in and the spiritual connection I feel when out on those wonderful spaces.

Looking forward to meeting with you and showing you what I have been up to over recent years. CYU there!

No-one could have been more surprised and thrilled than I was this last year. After being awarded an Excellence Award at the Goeje International Arts Festival where I represented Australia, more awards kept coming!

Well 2025 has started with some fascinating opportunities, challenges and ideas.... not sure if my energy levels are up to par yet but I am getting stronger each day!

However, we will be goping back to Arkaroola in the. mid year so if any of you want to come along, you need to email me and let me know.

I will be working on the travel agenda shortly... so far 6 are going... so be sure to tell me...Below is the western side of the Flinders from Lyndhurst! It's such a surreal place!

TO ALL WILDERISTS: I have just found this news article.... the desecration of sacred sites must stop! Those of us that have visited these places, need to talk about protecting these sites and caring for 'country' as indigenous people need our support...

Having just returned from west of the Flinders, I can state that there is absolutely no need for this to happen.... the SA government needs to come down harder!

The sandhills were destroyed during construction of a fence line on the boundary of Beltana Station and the Nilpena Ediacara National Park in South Australia.

The Wilderists are regathering! After the years of lockdown and restrictions, we trialled a few Painters Picnics earlier this year and they were just so restorative for the soul. We grabbed our brushes and our picnics and headed out into the forests where we breathed freely once again at last... so now, we have decided (or a few of us have) that we want to become Wilderists again.
We meet at Borrodell this Sunday for afternoon tea and nibbles, and perhaps a glass or two, to discuss how we go forward once again to forest bathe and desert wander. It's hard to keep Wilderists from rewilding it seems as so many of our former members are back again! Together!!!
