From brewery choir and 80’s icons to blues, rock and Sunday sessions, we’ve packed the weekend with local music, CAJE Kitchen eats and plenty of beer flowing.

Greetings friends and music lovers!!
The Groove Kitchen celebrates the Winter Solstice in fine style this coming June serving up some warm blues and some indie original spice.

The Reverend is no stranger to the Vic though some may say there are few stranger than the Reverend himself!! You know the recipe friends: deep cuts, obscurities and relics served with a hatful of the Rev’s special sauce!!

We are proud also to present Blue Arbutus on debut in the Groove Kitchen. This 3 piece nearly snuck under the radar in the hurly burly push n shove of the last JAM Orange Rock n Roll Roulette but they stood out as a self assured and together new outfit with a refreshing and retro indie vibe. We are looking to seeing these lads stretch out for sure.

So this is all happening Saturday 20th June from 8pm til late.

Rev Hawthorn 9:15pm til close.

Greetings friends!
Well last nite Abstract Compulsion hit cruising altitude from the get go and stayed there for the entire evening! We were treated to measured and immersive performance of original hypnotic grooves, acid jazz with soul and blues textures and some sizzling covers. Bronwyn is a compelling writer, vocalist and musician backed by the some of the hottest musos in the Bathurst region. Thanks and a special shout out to the band: Jon, Katie, Rob and David!!

We are looking forward to seeing more of this outfit and the Groove Kitchen is thrilled to host original artists of this calibre and as ever thank the Vic for supporting diverse genres of live music.

Next month we return with our old buddies Reverend Hawthorn and The Hand of Law supported by Blue Arbutus, an exciting emerging local outfit. Stay tuned for details and we will see YOU in the kitchen!!!
