Rock”n”Roll Roulette! At The Victoria Hotel

Here is an opportunity for the instrumentalists to come out of the woodwork. If you are looking to network with others, this is like speed dating for muso’s.
The Eternal Bliss will be the featured established band on the night performing a tight 30-minute set.

We will take EOI’s for other bands that want to strut their stuff for an extended set. Message us!

Then, depending on who’s in the room, let’s make some magic!

Full back line provided, we just need the Vocalists, guitarists, bass players, keyboard players, drummers, brass, wind, spoons, jaws harp, kazoo, even Ukulele to complete our science experiments! All are welcome.

These nights are a lot of fun and there is always great spontaneity and bankable quality. Get on down, you might enjoy it.

Greetings friends and music lovers!!
New music in the Groove Kitchen this month as we serve up for your aural delectation two original independent artists touring new releases!!

Bathurst songstress Harriet Fahey on her ‘Analog Girl’ Tour will be showcasing deftly crafted alternative indie-pop from her recently released debut EP Analog Girl. Harriet delivers a pop/punk attitude with infectious indie grooves, fine textures and heartfelt storytelling.

Joining Harriet on the bill are Sydney based rockers Dr TAOS and The Disorderlies. Drawing from extensive musical influences and years of national and international touring and recording, the enigmatic Doctor describes their melange of music as ‘wizard’ rock. A magically spicy, distilled mix of psychedelia, blues, Indi, folk and art rock, Dr TAOS and The Disorderlies prescribe the musical pills to cure your ills and deliver a hard hitting and accomplished performance from the best in the business. Touring a new single release ‘Boiling From The Inside’ the lads make a welcome return to The Vic - Victoria Hotel Orange after a storming outing earlier this year at Vicstock.

All this we bring to you with our compliments and FREE of charge on Saturday 17th October at Orange’s undisputed home of live, original and independent music the Vic Hotel.

Show starts with Harriet at 8pm. Don’t miss this one folks and we will…
See YOU in the kitchen!!!

Greetings friends
Well fun and hi jinx in the Groove Kitchen last night as good buddies No Motor and The Cicada Club took over the Vic!! A fabulous exposition of toe tappin good times from the golden era. These cats have it all in spades: jump blues, swing, depression era dust bowl hokum, stand up bass, chunking intricate rhythm guitar, blazing lead solos, and a plethora of things that are blown, squeezed and plucked. They even had a banjo! The chef got in on the act also with some uninvited farting noises from the PA demonstrating that there are times when feedback is unwelcome…

This was the final show for No Motor for the foreseeable future as Tony is off to make his fortune in the bush capital. It was a joy to watch these lads go round and join the Cicadas in a storming finale to the night.

The Cicadas are going from strength to strength with the Kangaroo Valley Folk Festival up next and an invite to the National Folk Festival on the horizon for next year!! Let’s hope they don’t croak before then!!

Join us for more in October as we present Bathurst songstress Harriet Fahey alongside Sydney wizards DrTaos and The Disorderlies on the 17th followed up by The Dynamic Grifters on the 31st!! Stay tuned for more on these acts.

See YOU in the kitchen!!
