The Corner Store Gallery is a small independently run art gallery in East Orange, NSW. We exhibit an eclectic mix of emerging and well-established artists specialising in a great variety of mediums. The gallery opens a new exhibition every three weeks showcasing the work of talented artists and designers from all over Australia. We host pop-up events and markets all throughout the year and hold regular workshops exploring a wide range of mediums and materials.

The Regional Art Prize 2026 is open all weekend.
Come and spend some time with 73 original artworks from artists living and working across regional, rural and remote Australia. Paintings, ceramics, photography and more, all under one roof, and all available to take home.

Whether you’re a longtime collector or just starting to build your own art collection, there’s something in this show for you.

Our Regional Art Prize is almost here! Opening Night is this Thursday from 6pm sponsored by Macquariedale Organic Wines - prize announcements will take place on the night! Sales will open to the public in person after the announcements and online sales will launch Friday at 7am. So if you would like first dibs on artworks you’ll have to come to opening night!

It’s finally here! Install week for our 2026 Regional Art Prize. Abbey and I and currently curating and installing 73 beautiful artworks of all kinds from across regional Australia!

The Regional Art Prize opens this Thursday 20 August from 6pm, with opening night doubling as our winner announcement. In-gallery sales start straight after the winner is announced, and online sales launch at 7am Friday 21 August. Doors stay open to the public from 21 through to 30 August.

If you’re on our newsletter, keep an eye on your inbox, the preview catalogue lands with subscribers this Wednesday, so you can have a browse before everyone else.

Today The Corner Store Gallery turns 12!
Twelve years ago I opened the doors here on Summer Street in Orange, in a building that was once my local corner store growing up (yes, I used to buy lollies from Thommos here after school back in the 90s). It's been a huge privilege to spend the last twelve years supporting Australian artists and getting to know so many of you along the way.

Our Winter Salon brings together original Australian art in every medium, paintings, ceramics, textiles and sculpture, from emerging and established artists across the country. Hung close together the way a real collection grows over time, one piece at a time, each with its own story.
