On TONIGHT, Members Workshop on the topic: Multiple Exposure. This will help you prepare for the upcoming October photo competition.

Members are asked to bring cameras, camera manuals, laptops to practice multiple exposure effect by blending two or three images together — either in-camera using your camera's built-in multiple exposure mode, or in post-editing software — to produce a single, unified composite image.

Don't forget, if you're entering photos in the next competition on the theme “ICM” Intentional Camera Movement, entries are now due on Monday night 11:59pm (tonight 17/8). This small change allows the coordinators time to get all the entries processed and delivered to the external judge on time.

On TUESDAY 4 August, Workshop – Member Photography Critique – Members are asked to bring a maximum of 2 images for critique, in an informal setting. Come prepared to answer two questions per photo: (please keep it short to let everyone present, e.g. 2-3min):
- How did you take it?
- What is the story/concept behind it?

We'll also receive the competition results on the theme: "Fog and Frost: Orange in Winter".

New members are welcome and we look forward to seeing some new faces who stopped by to have a chat at the Show. Join us in the Orange Senior Citizens' Association building at 77 Kite St, Orange from 7pm for a 7:30pm start.

Congratulations to all the Honours and Merit winners in this week's competition on the theme "Abandoned - no longer in use" in monochrome.

The quality of the entries were so high that many images received Honours or Merit recognition. Special congratulations to Helmut for his image 'The Old Slab Hut' which was named as Judges Choice.

On this TUESDAY 7/6, we'll review the entries with judges comments on the competition theme "Abandoned - no longer in use".

Following the review, there will be an opportunity for members to discuss their favourite/not so favourite gear based on their preferred style of photography. Please feel free to bring some gear or be prepared to talk about your gear at this 'mini workshop'.
