Hi friends of the eco.textileStudio
The Spatial.io Platform, where I created a virtual space for us to exhibit images of students' works, is actually closing its "VR gallery Studio-options" on the 27th June; they will focus on Games only.
This is the final opportunity for anyone who hasn't engaged with the VR Space I curated for the 2025 SAE University Postgraduate Students' artworks related to the Creative Media Industries. (including mine).
You can enter the space by using the link below. It works better using Chrome. You can always ask for help if needed. The exhibition works without the need to use the VR Oculus and other VR gadgets. With very simple commands using your keybord, you can click on videos, and jump through portals forward and backwards and enjoy the space.
A new Virtual Reality Gallery is already being built for the Studio, which will be called "iweavings.vr", the name of a new domain coming up as well.
I like to thank you all for your tolerance with this page, and look forward to meeting you at the Spatial.io gallery before it closes, so you may have an idea of how exciting the future of internet relationships is, as it is starting to take shape.

🎉 Big news from the eco.textileStudio! 🎉

We’re stepping into the virtual world!

I'm wrapping up a presentation for our local Council to introduce eco.textileStudio’s new virtual gallery_Hub. It’s been a wild ride, with much to share and so much passion behind it. I’ll share a Zoom invite in October so you can get the full scoop.

Also… I just completed my Master’s in Creative Media Industries! 🥳

It may have been quiet here, but big things are coming. Mark your calendars: our official virtual launch is this December.

My teacher sent me this project today because I'm planning to create a Virtual Gallery (with a twist...)

I recently visited Anastasia and her lovely family, where I provided them with a weaving workshop, which was recorded in this video.

Teaching people how to weave a cloth is a magical experience, and this one was definitely a magical moment. Anastasia and her family are the perfect example of living sustainably.

My work was sold...
Here are some of my favourite artworks. The Postcard Show is great. A Brilliant idea, and well-executed. I even bought one painting.
I couldn't resist the 100's and thousands toast. Every dot painted.

Shame they didn't place my work as I asked. One beside each other. For some reason, people seem to think that "Him" must stay on top...😄
And no one knows it is an actual postcard.
Never mind. I might just do something about that.

I am happy to have had the opportunity to be interviewed by
Arts Canvass Podcast programmer Karena wynn-Moylan, at her studio in Bangalow the other day. It went on air at BayFM on the
7 December 2023. I feel that it is important to share this interview here. Maybe people will become interested in suggesting ideas, or place your opinion.
The whole show is interesting. My interview starts halfway up.

Arts Canvass is a hugely popular, long running two hour magazine format show with interviews with local , visiting and touring creative artists across all disciplines.

The first BAZAAR BIZARRE end-of-year art celebration is on!
Mother&Daugther Art Show will be the first opportunity for you to learn more about this new event from the eco.textileStudio. Marina will be the first featured artist of this event series, followed by another three local artists who I taught weaving for years, and who are extraordinary local artists. The Textile Techniques Holiday Workshops are back as well. Watch this place. Spread the news! :)

Marina Cordeiro Krahe (my daughter) and I joined the PRACTICING ARTISTS NETWORK (PAN) this year.
This coming Sunday is our first event together with PAN. We will exhibit our new artwork at the Old Scout Hall in Bangalow, NSW. We both have made beautiful prints. My prints are based on the new AI techniques, using my textile art as the basis for the new series. I have a few cute weavings and some of the last weaving kits for sale as well. What a great idea for your early Christmas Shopping!?

Marina's very first prints were accepted at the Art Express, as she finished high school. Here is Marina's take on her latest works.

"Underrated Fish" is a visual exploration of the unsung stars of the aquatic world. Over the last two years, I've had the privilege of immersing myself in a world teeming with aquatic life through Atlas Aquarium. It's here that I've discovered that some of the most extraordinary and remarkable fish often go unnoticed by both hobbyists and the general public. These unsung heroes of the underwater realm possess a unique charm and contribute to the intricate tapestry of life beneath the surface. My series is a celebration of these fish and an invitation to all to take a closer look at the treasures hidden in our waters.
