I recently came across some rubberwood and thought I might make some binding material to see what it's like.
It's great. It's harder than maple binding but just about as flexible, so no pre bending required.
This is another Blackwood Gardner Workhorse Guitar. Minimal trim, low cost, great sound and playability.
