This past 18 months have been a rollercoaster!
It definitely would not have been possible without our family & mentors who supported us as we took a leap of faith to move & start Be YOU Ballroom. Our goal was never to stick to the conventional studio frameworks, but challenge the experiences we had across the years in many studios growing up. We have taken what we valued & left behind what we felt was holding our industry in the past or negatively impacting the people within it. There is still a lot to perfect, a lot to learn & plenty of opportunities ahead for our studio & itās wonderful growing community. It is definitely not an easy task to be competing full time at the peak of Australian Dancesport while establishing BYB, however it has become our passion & homeā¦ a place we can return to in times of adversity or celebration knowing that we have our beautiful community of support. While our competitive career is truly only just beginning, so is Be YOU Ballroom. Unfortunately, if you are after a traditional dance studio or clubā¦ we are not the place for you. However, if you are looking to be part of something greater, a place that has a passion for learning, a passion for people & a passion for the future of our sport then come along for the ride. Whatever it is - fitness, self confidence, friendships, a stress outlet, community, achievement - we hope that you can find it within BYB. Be YOU & let dancesport offer you endless possibilities.
It has been an honor to be named finalists in the Shoalhaven Business Awards! Many donāt see dance studios as businesses, but rather a hobby. We take what we do seriously & while many businesses can sell a product, we believe it takes so much more to offer a service that people return to week after week. We also believe it takes so much more to create a community! This past year, we believe we have done just that & in doing so have hit many milestones that we should all be proud of.
Thank you to BYB, our wonderful students & community. Thank you to our mentors & family for their continued belief in usā¦ this next year will be bigger than you can imagine! Are YOU ready BYB? Are YOU ready Nowraā¦ we have just begun!
