As a friend,
You should ask yourself, what have you done when your friend is emotionally struggling and groping with the right decisions.

Now you sympathize with words that are unreachable without even knowing the whole story
Simply, sympathy on the other hand is extending a hand out of reach.

For sure, it all started when you introduced yourself.
That first day of having mixed emotions inside a new place that later turned into your second home.
It was then the first end of the day, when you try to stalk someone from that room that has caught your attention.
The first end of the day, na sobrang ingay niyo sa mga groupchats ninyo sapagkat sobra kayong naoverwhelm sa unang araw ng klase. Ganyan sig**o nagsimula ang school year 2022-2023 mo.
Sa una'y paniguradong nahirapan ka sa pag-aadjust sapagkat bago na naman ang mga kaklase mo-new seat mates, teachers, subjects-panibagong hamon.
Bago na naman ang section mo, hindi na pangalan ng planeta-pangalan na ng mga kilala at matatalinong tao.

And it all happened!

Sa iisang room mga istorya nati'y nabuo
Mga pag kakaibigan dito na lumago
Nandiyan si seatmate na lagi mong pinagtatanungan ng sagot
At kapag makikitang nakatingin si teacher sabay sabing "lagot"

Si classmate na laman ng bag ay mga liptint at pulbo
Pagkangawit ng husto dahil sa ilang oras na kakaupo
Si president na minsan strikto
Minsan naman palabiro
Sa joker nating walang sawang nagpapatawa
Kahit na sarili mismo di kayang mapasaya
Sa mga singer at sumi-singer na laging kumakanta
Akala mo'y magcoconcert, na may papikit pikit pa

Kay classmate na sponsor ng papel tuwing may pagsusulit
Halos kabibili pa lamang nawala na saglit
Kay classmate na kapag nakita kang atat na atat umuwi
Anjan siya sa likod mo pasimpleng hawak ang bag mo para itali

Nanjan ang walang tigil na asaran, kahit may umiiyak na
Nainip kakabully kaya pangalan na ng magulang ang sinasabi
Mga away ng dahil lang sa electric fan
Eh si teacher nga di din na eelectric fan'an

Anjan ang sigawan tuwing naghahabol ng pt's
Konting tanong palang, beastmode na sila
Sarap tuloy tawagin pero baka sampalin ako bigla
Walang sawang pag sabi ng "bonus" tuwing exams
Dahil mukhang mababa ang makukuha

Si science na nagiging math na
Si ballpen na laging nawawalan ng tinta
Supplier ng papel ay naubusan na
Kaya sa kabilang section pumunta't humingi na
Kay classmate na maganda ang camera ng cellphone
Kaya laging napupuno kakaselfie at sasabihin pang pasend ako neto

Sa mga couples na minsan magpapansinan, minsan nag-iiwasan
Sa mga group members nating dinaig pa ang ml sa pagpapabuhat
Kay leader na walang sawa ang kakapuyat
Sa mga members na nanjan kapag gagawa ng proyekto
Pero sa tuwing maniningil ng bayad parang bula na agad naglalaho
Magrereklamong madaming babayaran
Pero ang bag punong puno naman ng pagkaing laman

Lagi tayong napapagalitan dahil sa lakas ng ating boses
Kaya si adviser patatahimikin tayo ng ilang beses
Kay teacher na minsan beastmode at pagod kakasalita
Dahil sa walang tigil na bangayan natin kapag sila'y naglelesson
Laging nagbabayad ng multa dahil hindi naglilinis eh cleaners
Yung iba naman jan pahila hila lang ng upuan, tapos na

Kay treasurer na pagdating mo palang sisingilin kana
Akala mo naman may pera kang dala dala
Kay secretary na minsan na lang nagsusulat
Dahil panay photocopies na lang at ang iba'y wala ng panulat

Mainis man ang ibang g**o satin dahil wala tayong modo
Na walang araw na di tayo naging maingay at magulo
Bansagan man nila tayong pasaway at loko loko
Di parin mawawala ang samahan nating minsan ng nabuo

Ilan lamang to sa mga ala alang aking binanggit
Masaya man nung una pero sakit naman ang kapalit
Sakit dahil mapapatanong ka na lang "bakit di pwedeng sila na lang ulit"
Bakit di pwedeng magkakasama kami next school year ulit

Naisin man nating balikan ang bawat masasayang araw
Wala na tayong magagawa dahil palapit na ang takdang araw,
Araw kung san tayo'y mamamaalam na isat isa,
Ngunit kapalit naman nito'y bagong simula

Masakit man isipin na ang minsan nating binuo
Ay tuluyan na itong isasarat ikakandado
At hihintaying ito'y muling mabuksan at magkaroon ng panibago
Mahirap man mag let go sa mga taong napamahal na sayo
Ngunit itoy nararapat dahil ikakabuti din natin ito

Bago ko tuluyang tapusin ang tulang ito
nais kong sambitin ang mga salitang sanay tumatak sa isipan ninyo
"Tayo'y magkakahiwalay ngunit hindi magkakalimutan"
Makakalimutan man natin ang pangalan ng bawat isa,
ngunit ang alaala na minsan na nating nilikha
ay mamananatili sa puso't isip ng bawat isa
Baunin sana natin lahat ng masasayang alaala
Para sa darating na araw ito'y muli nating dadagdagan pa
Wala sanang limutan mga classmate,
walang limutan aking kapamilya

May you always find the words someday, in God's perfect time (Puhon) and keep going (Padayon) as you make your dreams come true.
Dreams typically reflect the desires of your heart. It shows your love for something and compassion for someone. However, dreams are full of challenges. From the start, it is like a five-word flash fiction "so close, yet so far." Simply means, "mahirap abutin, ngunit kayang marating."
Ika nga nila, "The Dream and The Dreamer is One In You."
Talo ka kapag sumuko ka, pero panalo kapag pumuso at lumaban ka.
Kung isa ka sa mga nangangarap ngayon, puhon at padayon! Trust the process and never lose hope!

Kahilwayan! A hiligaynon word meaning "freedom."

For the human self and soul to grow, be free from your past, comfort zone and old self. Freedom relieves you from the chains and rids of what restrains you from growth and development. From that moment, you become a "new creation."
A new creation-a better version of yourself manifests from and on to different instances. From shame to no longer ashamed, from afraid to no longer afraid, from broken to whole, from a disgrace to a blessing, from bounded to being freed and etc.
Indeed, when you are free, you can do whatever you want. However, you must always do the right thing. Exercise freedom containing the principles of honoring God and serving His people.
Lastly, freedom or kahilwayan is best practiced when you are true to yourself.

YUHUM! A Hiligaynon word which means pagngiti o pagtawa.
Smiling often regard as an action which is relative to happiness and love. As Mother Teresa had written in her book entitled "The Best Gift is Love"---"Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing."
A smile or Yuhum exude different positive emotions but with unknown reasons. As they say, you never know the reason/s behind someone smiles unless you have been told.
Sig**o, lahat tayo dumating sa punto ng buhay natin, na naranasan nating ngumiti ng matamis dahil sa mga materyal na bagay o dahil sa ibang tao. Yan ang mga ngiting, nagpapakita ng kagalakan at pagpapahalaga. However, remember that those reasons are temporary, uncertain and inconsistent. Maaring masaya ka ngayon dahil sa bagay o taong iyan, ngunit mamaya'y hindi na.
With this, I want you to know that, if there is one awesome and first deserving person to receive Yuhum or a smile, as an action of love, as a beautiful and amazing gift to someone, that person or someone would be YOURSELF. Yourself, deserves all the appreciation and joy.
After all, before you show or give your inspiring and sweet smiles/yuhum to other people-----"Be the reason for your own smile."

Lord, as we start this day, bring us to tables and circles where truth and wisdom abounds. Guard our ears from any form of slander or gossip. May all the words that come out from our mouth speak nothing but truth. Lord, with your guidance, use our lips to build others up.
If you are reading this, and you find yourself surrounded by people who find comfort by tearing others down through their words, now is the time for you to stay or walk away. If by any chance you know someone who gossips a lot, tell them to stop.
Ephesians 4:29 says, "Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to their needs, that it may benefit those who listen."
The word of the Lord does not want you to destroy others' reputation. He wants you to be a blessing and inspiration, if not by your hands then through your mouth.
Do this to honor God and for the sake of others.

As you grow up, find the word acceptance. Like accepting the fact that people come and go, that life has to end and not all the "time-times" people would all be there for you. That is not life, and with that I want you to know that today is the right time to reconnect with your inner self while saying, all you ever need in this uncertain life is acceptance!
At an early age, I have learned that acceptance best starts within the parts of the human self and soul, wherein you do not need to be perfect, to live up to anyone else's expectations, and to demand for others'validation. All you have to do is to be true to yourself, that at the end of the day, you are a human who is imperfect yet uniquely and wonderfully created by God.
And from that moment, masasabi mong, Lord, napakabuti mo! Hindi man ako perpekto sa mata ng ibang tao, nagpapasalamat ako dahil nilikha mo akong natatangi at kaaya aya sa paninginmo.
With this, I just want you to know that, it is better not to be accepted by people, pero alam mo sa sarili mo na tanggap ka ni Kristo sapagkat tinanggap mo ang natatangi't kaaya ayang pagkalikha Niya sayo.
