The Alley

The Alley The Alley The Alley is a quirky, relaxed entertainment space, adjacent to creative agency, Martins Integrated.

It offers a large undercover performance area with catering facilities in an adjoining courtyard with bar and wood oven. The Alley emerged as a venue for the 2013 Adelaide Fringe, featuring the premiere performances of “Sensorial”. This collaboration between renowned artists Niki Vasilakis and Claire Foord saw violinist Niki perform an original composition amongst Claire’s paintings that had been

inspired by the music. Since then the Alley has hosted a variety of quality creative events including;

* Pre-event for the 2014 International Guitar Festival performance by guitarists of international acclaim, Slava and Leonard Grigoryan along with Chris Finnen. Guest were also treated to pizza cooked by acclaimed chef, Russell Jeavons on the wood oven.

* Launch of the “The Good Life” by prolific author and well-known social researcher, writer and commentator, Hugh Mackay, as part of his 2013 national tour. Hugh generated vigorous discussion amongst the audience of the book’s themes and its ultimate question; “What makes a life worth living?”

* 2013 SALA Festival exhibition featuring artist Ken Baker’s mixed media works, “Vital Signs”. For enquiries regarding use or bookings of the Alley please contact Tony Wilson via email: [email protected]

Pizza Friday Fun @ The Alley. MI staff enjoying the sun and the fabulous wood oven pizzas in the funky open spaces of The Alley

The eternal question 'Who am I?' must be weighed against an even deeper question: 'Who are we?' We are writing each other's stories as much as we are writing our own.
