And that's it folks. A wonderful experience culminating in a sold out final night. We couldn't ask for more. Thank you all for coming, for donating through Australian Cultural Fund, for your feedback, love and support. We are so thankful we could share this work with you all. Remember, talk about the hard feelings, be vulnerable, reach out to those around you. Life throws some curve balls but time and human connection have amazing healing potential. Tonight we welcome the wonderful Ilana Charnelle Gelbart to join us on stage as our Auslan interpreter.

Ilana is an actress, songwriter and jazz chanteuse based in Melbourne. Ilana graduated with a Bachelor of Performing Arts (Honours) from Monash University in 2012, appearing in shows including ‘Blood Wedding’, Loveplay’ and ‘The 39 Steps’. In 2014 her performance as Kat in Daniel Lammin’s ‘The Cutting Boys’ was praised as “the stand out performance… such skill that I still get goose bumps when I think of it” (TheatrePeople.com). Ilana has previously appeared in Melbourne Fringe Festival (2014, 2015) and Adelaide Fringe Festival (2015), and at venues including Federation Square, ACMI, and The Butterfly Club.

As an accredited paraprofessional Auslan interpreter, Ilana has worked with a range of productions, including performances at Melbourne International Comedy Festival, Melbourne Fringe Festival, and Arts Centre Melbourne. ❤️
