Started in 1979 as an Analogue 16 track Studio,business developed to purchase a 24 track machine.As the years have gone by the studio recording area has developed,whilst retaining much of the original acoustic design.The studio changed to Protools HD2 downstairs, and in the early years of 2000 a second mixing and mastering room was built upstairs:Again with a Protools HD rig Dynaudio C4 Confidence

speakers and B&W802D speakers.The Rolls Royce of studio monitoring.The studio has been involved in recording many of the local bands in Melbourne, whilst the Mix/Mastering room has delivered product of an international quality from Melbourne to Australia wide to Nashville USA. Well, these two chaps have to be the soundtrack of our lives, and for me, two of the greatest song writers and band leaders and performers I have ever had the opportunity to play with, and learn from. Glenn Shorrock, and Brian Cadd, at the Crown Casino, playing as the TWO AMIGOS... 10.8.24.. What a show..Glenn and Brian have written so many incredible hits that are the soundtrack of my life, and for a full house of folks who equally enjoyed the songs, the wonderful performances, the gags, and the stories that they gave us tonight..Glenn Shorrock, Brian Cadd...just awesome...

Yesterday, 14.07.24 with a select group of old friends , all celebrating the 80th Birthday of the one and only Glenn Shorrock. Yes, it was Glenn's Birthday a couple of weeks ago, but this was Glenn's trip to Melbourne and it gave us all the opportunity to get together for a wonderful afternoon of celebration. Thank you Glenn and Irene for your generosity and hospitality. Many more happy snaps to follow. Once again, Happy Birthday Glenn Shorrock. Love and Respect. Proud to know you.

LRB's only Grammy nomination..On the bandtrack ..dB guitars..DP drums Glenn Shorrock vox Clive Harrison Bass Peter Sullivan Piano. It was released as the first single off the First Under the Wire album and bolted up the US charts. It was the most played song on US radio from September 1 1979 for the next 3 weeks .

This is an unsolicited plug for N**e Mics. I own most of the N**e mic range. I suspected you guys would get on like a house on fire and you most certainly did. He's been very excited to have met you too... You are one of his peers after all. I know this is the case because he's been raving to me in the car about you as we've been driving around Sydney.

You'll be pleased to know that the two people he's been most moved by while he's been here have been your good self and Richard Lush.

Build your own tape recorder..from a magazine Dr.Karen gave to me . I wonder what they sounded like ..I had a Pyrox and a Brenell that looked like this .. As technology improved did the quality of musicianship improve ? hmm..some musicians from those times were incredible ..Thankfully we can still listen to wonderful performances from those times..no Autotune ..no Beat Detective.. It's an interesting question to ponder..Technology certainly has made it easier to make better sounding records, but at what price ?...THOUGHTS .. :-)
