G'day folks!

And that's the last crew member for my Stargrave crew. Up next, I'll focus a bit more on the opposing forces the crew will need to face. Once thats done, I'll focus on explaining the game and the changes I have made to make it work as a single player game.

Anyway, let me know what you think.

G'day folks,

Got a couple more models done this week.

The guy in power armor is my second in command for my Stargrave crew as well as my heavy weapons specialist. He's supposed to be an aussie (reping the homeland), so I gave him an aussie flag and a can if fosters. Originally, the camo pattern was going to be auscam, but after a couple of failed attempts, I changed it to something different to spare my sanity. The aussie flag was also originally going to be the eureka flag, but that too proved extremely frustrating to paint.

Anyway, let me know what you think.

G'day folks!

Got a couple of models done this week. The purple mutant was a lot of fun to paint. I think I got him free in a bulk purchase of 3D printed minis ages ago, and I never had an excuse to paint him.

Now I do. He's going to be one of the leaders of one of the many factions facing off against my Stargrave crew. Behold: The great and mighty Kevin, captain in the army of King Freaks Mutant Nation. More on that later.

I added a clear, gloss varnish on his budgy smugglers because the idea of them being made of latex made it all the funnier to me.

Anyway, let me know what you think.

G'day folks!

Got a little more done this week. I got this Armoured Trooper done. I tried painting him like a hot rod, and I'm honestly pretty happy with how it turned out. I also finished these ammo crates I found in my spares drawer.

G'day folks!

Finished the last of my 'runners' for my Stargrave crew, and a bit of terrain too.

The building is from Miniture Scenery based right here in Victoria, Australia. I've been experimenting to try and find a way to make painting terrain fast and easy. I managed to do the bulk of the painting in about 30m with rattle cans, and most of that was just waiting for the base coat to dry. I'm happy with how it came out, and plan on experimenting a little more. The posters are just actually just resized images I found on google (mostly band posters I like) and printed, then stuck in with PVA.

The shipping containers are from Monster Scenery, and are actually pre painted. They looked a little too clean for my liking, so I used some sponges to scuz them up a little.

G'day folks!

Got these guys done for my Stargrave crew. They are a cheap unit that is just to fill out the last of my roster of ten crew men. I plan to finish the rest of the crew, then explain their purpose and function. I also had an idea that I would like some opinions on. Would you guys be interested in a sort of narrative follow along? I plan to do it anyway for my own amusement, but I thought maybe you guys would like to follow along?

Anyway, let me know what you think.

G'day folks!

Got these done this week. The aliens are from Crooked Dice, and I plan on using them for Star Grave, or any other game where greys could fit. In Star Grave, I intend on using these guys as Ruffians, a low level enemy armed with pistols. The lore behind them is that they are a race who have long lost the ability to reproduce naturally, forced to clone themselves over and over again. They seek to learn more of alien biology to try and find a way to save their species. For this reason, they abduct other species for experiments and probing in order to try and learn what they can before returning the subject unharmed.

The rest of the galactic community, however, don't see it this way and have labelled the entire species as a bunch of perverts with a probing fe**sh, and will shoot them on sight. Any attempts to try and correct this misconception have been met with failure (extreme violence). For this reason, they slink around the darker corners of civilisation, continuing their work in secret.

Anyway, let me know what you think!
