Jam Performing Arts is the longest running dance studio in North Lakes QLD. Why dance if you never get on stage to show it?

We offers a variety of quality dance classes in Jazz, Ballet, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Contemporary, Acro, Tap, Jazz Technique, Ballet Technique, Pointe, Singing & READY SET DANCE! JAM Performing Arts is a performing arts school North Lakes, and is one of the fastest growing schools in Brisbane. The studio directed by husband and wife Michael & Danica Edge, who between them have over 65 years worth of ex

perience in the arts. We provide lessons for all ages from 2 to advanced in Jazz, Hip Hop, Lyrical, Ballet, Tap, Contemporary, Musical Theatre and Acrobatics. We also have Eisteddfod and Performance Teams that compete across QLD and have close ties with the local community to provide a variety of dance and pantomine shows. All students perform in our end of year shows to showcase their love of dance and achievements throughout the year. Students are also encouraged to be a part of our eisteddfod and performance teams to gain further achievement in dance. JAM Performing Arts strives to produce entertainers with confidence, style and all around ability in a disciplined yet fun environment. All JAM students are taught to love what they do by teachers who love what they do!

Congratulations to all our incredible Performance Team members on wrapping up our final competition of the year over the last four days at the Born to Perform Competition at Redcliffe Entertainment Centre! 🎉💚💗

What an amazing way to finish our 2026 competition season!

Our results were absolutely outstanding:

👏 3 Highly Commended Awards

These results are a true reflection of the dedication, commitment and passion our students have shown all year. We couldn't be prouder of every single Jammer who stepped onto the stage and represented JAM Performing Arts with confidence, teamwork and heart.

Now it's time for a well-deserved break. Enjoy your winter holidays, recharge, and we'll see you all back in the studio very soon as we begin an exciting second half of the year!

Last week, our Mini Jammers’ Parents jumped into the fun as part of our Ready Set Dance Parent Participation Day! 🩷💚

It was such a special moment watching our Parents become the students, joining in with the dancing, singing, games and smiles alongside their little stars. 🥹✨

Seeing the confidence, skills and excitement our Mini Jammers have built over the past two terms made us so proud. Moments like these remind us just how much our little dancers grow, not only in dance but in confidence, coordination and creativity.

What a journey it has been! 💚🩷

Our Performance Team takes to the stage one last time for the final competition of the year at the Born to Perform Competition at the Redcliffe Entertainment Centre.

Months of hard work, countless rehearsals, dedication, determination and passion have all led to this moment. Every class, every correction, every rehearsal and every bit of effort has been building towards doing what you love most... performing on stage.

Now it's your time to shine. Dance with confidence, perform with heart, and enjoy every second. We are already so proud of each and every one of you.

31 placings at Future Stars Dance Comp… what an incredible achievement for our JAM Performance Team!

We are beyond proud of every single student who took to the stage this weekend and represented JAM with passion, energy, teamwork and heart. The improvement from our last competition was absolutely amazing to see, and the hard work in rehearsals is truly paying off.

Happy Mother’s Day to everyone celebrating today, but especially to our incredible JAMFAM Mums 💐❤️

Thank you for the love, support, dedication, and endless sacrifices you make for your children every single day. From dance drop-offs and to cheering from the audience and being there through every rehearsal, competition, and performance, we appreciate you more than words can say.

Last night our Performance Team took to the stage for our Sneakers & Tiaras Concert 💥

This show is a culmination of all the hard work from our Performance Team students, showcasing the routines they’ll be taking to competitions across Southeast Queensland over the next couple of months.

The energy backstage and in the audience was incredible, and it’s moments like these that remind us what being part of the Jamfam is all about 🖤💗💚

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the night possible, from our staff to our amazing families and supporters.

Now it’s time to hit the competition stage…
We wish all our Jammers the best of luck as they head out to perform and dance their hearts out!
