Our friends at Hobart Rep are back on stage tonight with Shakespeare in Love! 🎭❤️

Based on the Academy Award-winning film, this boisterous romantic comedy follows a young Will Shakespeare, struggling with writer’s block, who finds inspiration in Viola de Lesseps – a theatre-loving young woman determined to defy the rules of Elizabethan England and make it onto the stage. Cue forbidden romance, mistaken identities, backstage chaos and a little play you may have heard of called Romeo and Juliet…

We’re really looking forward to seeing Bad Company Theatre bring BEYOND THE NECK back to Tasmanian audiences for the first time since 2007.

A tender exploration of trauma, healing and human connection in the wake of the Port Arthur tragedy, this important Tasmanian work is being brought to life by a wonderful team.

The production is also proudly raising funds for the Alannah & Madeline Foundation, supporting their work to help children and young people live free from violence and trauma.
