School holidays are a great time for the kids to get creative!
In collaboration with Strength heroes, I have designed a map making workshop for kids.
It’s super fun, with loads of different creative strategies.
Drawing, water colour painting, designing and making your own stamps.
I’m excited be sharing my map making passion.

Ever noticed how kids panic when they draw a line 'wrong'?
🗺️ In our brand-new July Holiday Map Makers Creative Island workshop, we don't use rigid templates or step-by-step copycat grids. We start with a blank page and a pile of rice! Then we add the details. If a river goes the wrong way or a path looks wonky, we don't erase it—we pivot!
We turn that 'mistake' into a hidden dragon's cave or a secret island. Kids will also make stamps to add places and name the island using their own names as inspiration. They aren't just building beautiful, custom-designed worlds at The Maker Space—they’re building a can-do, problem-solving mindset they can use anywhere. 📍 Standalone 3-hour sessions for ages 6–12 at Floreat Forum.
