ConChord Sri Lankan community Choir Based in Melbourne. ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ฒ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ฐ

Initiated in 2013 and performed for the first time at the Harmony Day in 2014 bringing 250 Sri Lankan's of multi ethnic and multi faith . The choir also initiated and sang at a Sri Lankan Ecumenical service last year as well as at a few other events organised by the Synod. We sing in three main languages in Sri Lankan ( Sinhalese, Tamil and English) and is also learning new languages We also ha

ve a Junior choir. The choristers are an enthusiastic and committed group of singers of different ages, ethnicity and faiths and include not only former choir leaders, conductors and professional singers, but also those who are singing in a choir for the very first time. The choir is conducted by Rushan Hewawasam who is an experienced singer and conductor of several choirs in Sri Lanka and Australia.. All the participants have voluntarily given of their valuable time, effort and energy to further the cause of unity amongst Sri Lankans living in Australia.
