Thank you to all the wonderful people who came to this evening’s “My Husband Is Rich”, my improv comedy show with my wife – the first husband and wife improv show in Sydney. Our daughter took this photo during the show, which I can’t explain if you weren’t there of course. We have one more to go, tomorrow Sunday 8 September, 4:15pm @ Factory Theatre. We’d love to see you there. And if you came tonight, then come again tomorrow – it’s going to be completely different!

The final season of Arthur B's kicks off again Wednesday night.

Arthur B’s is returning again in September and October 2015, and we’re looking for artists (and groups) who would like to perform their own work (improv, stand up, sketch, musical comedy), and writers who would like to work with us on some new concepts.

This time around we're focusing on less is more, so there will only be a few spots available to showcase your work.

Our May/June season filled up in about a fortnight, so have a quick think and let us know ASAP.

Arthur would like to thank an awesome bunch of people for helping us with such an innovative and fun 8 week season of Arthur B's Erskineville Tonight. Thank you to all the groups and solo performers who graced our stage, our special guests Emily Beale, Alison Avron, Tony Starr, David Tieck, Rue de la Rocket, Jim Fishwick, Erin Foy and Sam Kissajukian, Cindy for lending us her season, Dave and Tony for pre-production workshopping the show with us, the crazy woman who made our tip jar, and Pete and Richard for putting their names on the poster. See you all in September for our return season!

Thankyou everyone for an amazing ~100 shows over 3-and-a-bit years. Rumour has it that Arthur has retired to Majorca for health (tax) reasons. Keep a weather eye on the horizon for standup comedy Thursdays at the Hive.

In the meantime, you have permission to be awesome and complete freedom to fail.

Near, far, wherever you are, I believe that The Hive Bar goes on.
