Our studio is a small dance family, a very unique and supportive environment - we pride ourselves on offering a happy and positive environment with endless support from staff, peers and families. We offer small class sizes to ensure each student is progressing at a rapid rate, we believe in “quality, not quantity”. Institute of Dance Australia's experienced dance staff are passionate providing the

necessary training to produce elite dancers - ensuring that we are bringing out the best in each child, helping make their dreams become a reality. Offering fully equipped air-conditioned dance studios boasting with Tarkett Dansfloor, sprung floors, mirrors, portable and wall-mounted ballet barres, as well as an acrobatic tumbling track. Our facilities include both male and female bathrooms, shower, kitchenette, reception and waiting area, along with a student common and study area. Students from our Senior School have been accepted into International Summer Schools and Year Round Programs, such as: English National Ballet School, American Ballet Theatre, Joffrey Ballet School, School at Steps and School of American Ballet. Students from our Junior School have been accepted into the Australian Ballet School - Interstate Training Program.

WELCOME TO NEWCASTLE'S BOUTIQUE DANCE STUDIO

Institute of Dance Australia is a fun and supportive dance studio, that has been welcoming students and families from Newcastle and surrounds, for the past six years. The school caters for students two years of age, to a pre-professional level, specialising in classical and contemporary dance.

Institute of Dance is in its sixth year of operation and continues to provide quality dance education to its students from Newcastle and its surrounds. We pride ourselves on small class sizes to ensure student progression, allowing your child to be given individual attention to promote growth in confidence and technique. It is of our upmost importance that each student receives expert tuition and reaches their full potential, whilst having fun and creating friendships at dance. The school caters for all levels of dance, beginner to budding ballerinas.​
