The Dance Establishment proudly presents its 13th Annual Gala Performance.
WONDER ~ Chapter Two. ✨
A sequel to our original production from 2018. An enchanting journey into the pages of stories we know and love.
This year’s performance brings together a dynamic program of ballet, contemporary, jazz, lyrical, and tap, showcasing the incredible talent, creativity, and passion of our dancers and choreographers.
At the heart of this year’s performance is a forgotten book. One that has sat untouched on a dusty library shelf for eight long years. Its pages have remained closed, its stories silent and its magic dormant.
Until now.
Deep within an old library, one curious girl discovers the forgotten book and, drawn by a sense of wonder, reaches for its worn cover. As she opens the first page, the magic that has been sleeping for eight years begins to awaken.
Suddenly, she is transported beyond the pages and into worlds filled with enchanted forests, mysterious magic, underwater kingdoms, unforgettable characters and adventures beyond her imagination.
Through the language of dance, two beloved childhood stories, Snow White and The Little Mermaid are reimagined and brought to life, taking our heroine on a journey filled with wonder, courage, friendship, temptation and discovery.
From the innocence of Snow White’s enchanted forest to the depths of Ariel’s underwater world, each chapter reveals a new adventure and with every turn of the page, our heroine discovers that sometimes the most extraordinary worlds are the ones we find when we dare to open a book.
