And, so, we begin Digby Fixit's journey!

'Digby's Moon Mission' is Renee Price's first children's picture book. It was published through her brand, Create It Kids, in December 2014, following a highly successful crowdfunding campaign.

'Digby's Moon Mission' continues to receive wonderful support, and outstanding reviews, featuring on sites such as Kids' Book Review, My Book Corner, Buzz Words,

Boomerang Books, Creative Kids Tales and CBCA Reading Time. Since its publication, Renee has written and recorded several children's songs to accompany the many missions of Digby Fixit. In July 2015, through Newcastle and Lake Macquarie libraries, Renee debuted 'Digby Fixit Live!', incorporating story-telling, song, theatre, and a cute little puppet!. The production is suited to children aged three to eight years.

'Digby Fixit Live!' is offered as incursions at child-care organisations, preschools and schools, school holiday library activities and public events. March 2017 saw the release of the second book in the Digby Fixit series - 'Digby and the Yodelayhee Who?'. It combines Renee's two passions, story and song, and has received quality reviews on Kids' Book Review, Boomerang Books, The Bottom Shelf and CBCA Reading Time. Our Story

Digby Fixit is a character, created in 2013. Initially, he didn't have a name, but he sure had personality! Digby is a young, curious and imaginative boy, who loves solving problems in inventive ways, and with the help of his enthusiastic friends.

The first of Digby's stories originated one evening when my son, who was almost four-years-old at the time, looked up to the sky and noticed a 'thin' crescent moon. We chatted about why the moon is sometimes like a banana and at other times, like a circle. His idea was that the moon must be in need of a drink or maybe it was hungry. We talked about ways we could get food to the moon so that it could be full again.

This conversation led to writing the story which resulted in the picture book, Digby's Moon Mission, illustrated by the amazing Anil Tortop, designed by the glorious Tadaa Book and published through my brand, Create It Kids.

During the first draft, Digby Fixit's name evolved. Fixit by name, fix it by nature!
