Say hello to our new Functions Manager, Maisie! ✨

"Hi everyone! Just wanted to pop on to say hi and introduce myself! I’m originally from the north of England, so naturally I love beer and football (and yes, football… not soccer). Big Liverpool supporter, but if I’m not working you’ll probably catch me at a Jets game too.

I studied neuroscience at uni in Edinburgh, where I ended up staying for a few years and met my partner — he’s Scottish with a Kiwi mum, so our household accents are all over the place. We moved to Newcastle 3 years ago to be closer to family as my sister, her wife and their 3 kids live just down the road.

Somewhere along the way I realised what I really love is working with people and bringing events to life from concept to completion. I’m passionate about creating experiences people genuinely enjoy and remember. Outside of work I’m usually watching football, going for nature walks, swimming at the baths, or reading a good book.

Looking forward to getting to know everyone and helping create some amazing events ✨🖤"

What a spread ✨

When Koiop Connect approached us to host their Reconciliation Week morning tea and brand refresh launch, we couldn’t wait to bring it to life. The brief was simple: an Indigenous-inspired menu designed to bring people together and create connection across the room.

We crafted a menu that celebrated culture and flavour, featuring dishes like wattleseed baked brownies and kangaroo meatballs, thoughtfully designed to honour story, tradition and shared experience.

From concept to plate, it was all about connection through food 💛
