Club Jive teach Modern Jive, the smooth modern dance style that's easy to learn and suitable for all ages. Modern Jive originated in France in the late 1940's and has been evolving ever since! It is a mix of various dance styles including Salsa, Latin, Rock & Roll, Ballroom and Tango as well as most recently, West Coast Swing. You don't need a partner as classes work on a rotational basis so you w
ill dance with beginners, intermediate and advance dancers alike. You can start at any time during the year as every week is taught as a brand new beginner class, always going over the basic hand-hold and footwork for the style. It's fun, it's easy and best of all you can hit the dance floor immediately! With a multitude of social events and nights out dancing, we offer you a safe and fun environment where you will connect with like minded people and increase your social calendar!
