Cute patoots washable paper purse. Handprinted cute as tartan. Those of us with Welsh or Scottish heritage, have you ever looked up your tartan? The Welsh Jones tartan is a fabulous blue and green which apparently shouldn’t be seen together. 🤣🤷🏽‍♀️ I love blue and green together. The colours of the ocean - yes please. 🌊🐠🐋🐬

I’ve been very slack on the making front, all boring excuses. Finally finished Mia’s paper scoop purse. Totally in love with this combo. Did you know they last for about 4 years with average daily use? Made from cellulose and latex. Totally sustainable product.

Phew, 4 colour Licktenstein back on the print table. Printed in the heat yesterday, felt good.

Here’s my paper clutch in the ‘sink soaking stage’. When I make the wallets they need to be turned inside out so they have to be soaked in water so the ‘paper’ becomes soft and malleable, otherwise it would be impossible to turn them inside out. It’s so fascinating this material. It’s made from all natural and sustainable materials, latex and cellulose. The cellulose is the carbohydrate inside the cell wall of green plants and latex is the soft white substance found beneath the bark of a mature rubber tree. Combined together you get this leather like material that eventually biodegrades.

New paper Wally wallet for me. It’s a smaller size and not sure if it will s**t me, I’ll keep you updated. Took my old tassel off my other wallet and looks pretty sweet. Can still fit keys in this one.
