The practice of Nature Journaling is a wonderful way to connect with the natural world around you; a chance to slow down, time to observe, listen, and discover. You don’t need any prior experience in art to join in, just an interest in your local natural environments, plants and animals. We meet in the field at various locations around the Hunter region, with people of all ages and abilities. We a

Meet at the end of Lambton Parade, Reids Reserve, Swansea Heads. Bring your own art kit, water, snacks. Guidance provided for beginners to nature journaling.

Join us for our first Spring Field Trip for the year, Sunday 21st September at . Meet at the end of Ocean Street Dudley, 9:30am.
Bring water, snacks, a mat or chair to sit on, and your favourite art gear, wear a hat and closed in shoes. It's coastal heathland wildflower season! This field trip is suitable for beginners with instructions provided, or for experienced nature journalers who just want to be immersed in a bed of wildflowers to draw and paint.

Friday 29th August from 9:30am, will be the last chance to join us at umali barai-ku the Lake Macquarie Landcare & Sustainable Living Centre, before our Spring field trips.
